One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden ...

dollzi.tumblr.com
... where Real Toads like to hang out every Monday.

What better way to start a new week than with a wonderful selection of poetry to read? Please share a poem of your choice with us, and take some time to read a few of the other poems which have been linked up alongside your own. Your support of our writing is greatly appreciated and will be warmly reciprocated.

Good morning,
'Hanging out' here is much more attractive than hanging out Monday's washing :-)
May your Monday morning be full of warm sunshine.

I am a Real Toad--but one who has a writing workshop on Monday nights. I prepped all day, so I am late, and this is an old poem --- and I'll be back to read EVERYTHING tomorrow.

I love when mad Monday sharing comes along.

If anyone would be so kind can you dollop me some words on my blog, I'd be most grateful. Random words, if you please for me to fiddle with.

Too exhausted to blink after my long weekend clinic with Buck Brannaman. I will try and post photos and share some of his wisdom about horses over the next few days... (He IS the horse whisperer! )

I still have posts to catch up on, so I will be a-visiting over the next few days.
